Internships

Do you want to learn how to do research in personality psychology?
We are always looking for interested and highly motivated research interns. Through an internship in our research group, you can gain fascinating insights into the daily life of research and acquire important scientific skills and knowledge that can also serve as preparation for a bachelor's or master's thesis. Additionally, it provides an opportunity to test whether a career in science is a suitable path for you. Furthermore, you will acquire in-depth knowledge of Personlity Psychology, which can be applied in numerous other professional fields in- and outside of academia (e.g., school psychology, personnel selection and development, health promotion, counseling and therapy, advertising, and market research).
A research internship should ideally last for a minimum of 4 weeks on a full-time basis or a comparable duration on a part-time basis. During this time, you will work closely under the supervision of one of our staff members on one of our projects. Typical activities include literature review, preparation of empirical studies (e.g., developing study materials), participant recruitment, assistance with data collection and analysis, and writing result reports and study documentation.
Please note that research internships are usually unpaid.
